About Zenzoë

Nothing reeks of narcissism like the personal blog.

For one thing, in a society where fame and celebrity count as proof of personal worth, even when built on insubstantial evidence, if you’re not famous in the first place, the only people with enough interest in your opinions, your life, or your observations about the weather are your very closest friends, relatives and an occasional passer-by. And even there, you can bet they’re not really all that interested in reading yet another of your meandering commentaries, where you blather on, savoring your own words like an indulgent parent to a toddler.

And yet, here I am— lefty blogger, if and when I am not painting, writing poems, gardening, entertaining myself with reading, movies, TV, observing cat antics, spoiling grandchildren, as best I can, considering, or busting my roommate’s balls. ;D   Oh yeah, and I’m a feminist of the Gail Dines or Robert Jensen variety, vegetarian and activist, as may have been noticed over at Thom Hartmann’s website.

See what my friends at the TH "community" had to say about "Zenzoë," chosen moniker, according to my disinterest in advertising myself under my real name:
